Building the Platform Before It Was Needed

We launched the online membership platform before the pandemic. When gyms shut down, Stephitness didn't pivot, she scaled.

“Instead of reacting during the pandemic, the business was already prepared.”

    The bet

Digital delivery before the market demanded it.

In the year before COVID, we built and launched an online membership platform for Stephitness. Not a landing page, a real product: workout library, membership tiers, payments, and a customer database.

    March 2020

Already in place when the industry stopped.

When gyms shut down, the pieces every competitor was scrambling to build already existed here. Members kept training. Revenue kept coming in. There was no pivot, just an acceleration of a system that was already running.

    The compounding effect

Recurring revenue that funded the next chapter.

The recurring revenue generated by the platform is what helped support the expansion into a permanent fitness facility in 2022. The pandemic didn't create the platform's value, it exposed it.

    What this chapter delivered
